So back on topic
, the best pre-workout meal in my opinion is a Whey Protein shake with a little creatine, and a banana. but u don't want to make it to heavy, trust me .

I'd save the whey for post workout. You don't need fast acting proteins during your workout. Actually you want the opposite, casein (slow digesting protein) is great for the morning and night. Post workout is when you need whey because your body's looking for protein to start protein synthesis so you can start repairing your muscles.
